FSC – good for you
Where the wood comes from and for example what the windows are made of is no longer unimportant to every customer. But now it is possible for you to choose Geka exclusive windows with the FSC seal.
The FSC seal is only awarded to products that come from forests that are operated socially conscious and environment friendly. These are forests where wood is cut but the large variety of plants and animals is conserved. There is also much concern in regard to the social interests of the people in the area.
FSC – trademark
Products with the FSC trademark use wood from ideally managed forests. The certification of these forests is done according to the regulations of the Forest Stewardship Council.

The measuring standards and regulated controlling by independent experts are the most important reasons why the FSC is such a creditable international certifying system for forestry and wood products. In June 2003 the FSC seal was given the award Label of the Month.
