BULLET PREVENTIVE PANES
The classes P1 to P5 describe the break preventive glass panes by their increasing protective effect.
The test procedure simulates the attempt to break the glass pane with a heavy projectile. Here a heavy metal ball 4,11 kg (diameter 100mm) falls on a glass sample (1100 x 900mm) from the same height 3x. The classification takes place according to the height of the fall and the hit surface.
Resistance classes P1A-P5A according to DIN EN 356 A (Break prevention according to DIN 52290, part 4)
Glass panes from the classes P1A to P5A are used in private areas. Break-ins by opportunity criminals on the spur of the moment should be prevented. The glass panes are applicable for family homes, summer cottages, week-end houses, exclusive apartments, normal shop windows and entrance doors.

Resistance classes P6B-P8B according to DIN EN 356 B (Break through prevention according to DIN 52290, part 3)
In order to protect valuables and life combination safety glass is used from the classes P6B to P8B. The use of these glass panes is very versatile. An attached alarm net (electric conductor loop) is thereby destroyed and the electric circuit disconnected. This sets off the connected alarm system.
Resistance class BR1-SG2NS according to DIN EN 1063 (Bullet preventive according to DIN 52290, part 2)
In order to protect the most important thing, your own life safety glass panes are used from the classes: BR1 NS to BR7 NS and SG1 and SG2. These bullet resistant glass panes offer maximum security.
